Managing Director - Nonprofit & Creative. Community Development, Content Strategy, Urban Agriculture.

Endlessly curious. Knowledge nerd.

I’m currently available for consulting engagements virtually, or hybrid.

I’m based in Toronto, Canada with a foothold in Texas, but from time to time collaborate on global projects.

For over two decades, I have led and advised mission-driven organizations, public institutions, and creative teams while delivering complex programs that blend strategy, storytelling, research, and community engagement.

I am humbled to have won awards in both the creative & community development spaces.

My work is grounded in critical thinking, creative sustainability, and participatory leadership, supporting communities to build systems that are resilient, inclusive, and deeply local.

My education includes a BA and HBCD, along with post-graduate credentials in Content Strategy, Project Management (PMP track), and Publishing. Under mentorship with the Humber School for Writers, I am currently completing a work of creative non-fiction, B-Sides: The Stories We Saved for Later.

My diverse project history includes:

  • All levels of program design, implementation and leadership in both creative (freelance/agency/team assembly) & community-based organizations.

  • Strategic communications, content strategy, and brand development (I have left the case studies and brands in another tab)

  • Applied research, grants, and government-funded initiatives

  • Urban agriculture, food security, and place-based projects

  • UX research design, low to high fi to working models

  • Publishing industry, non-fiction and editorial works

I value clarity, collaboration, and care…and I’m a firm believer in normalizing diverse, intersecting interests and learning paths.

I’m motivated by value driven (or just cool) work that leaves people, places, and systems stronger than when I found them.
